Hiring someone to build and manage my site and SEO

So I currently have a website for my business and it does well in the rankings. I feel it could use someone managing and keeping it all up to date.

Most companies I’ve spoken with are requesting to manage our socials and google my business and Facebook ads. We run all of those ourselves with excellent results and we are very active on our socials. What benefits would come with them managing those pages if any? Or would it not hurt anything for us to keep doing what we do and they just manage our site and SEO?
