Does it really hurt to use WIX?

Hey :)

I've started my first blog about 8 months ago and I'm using WIX. I always read that WIX is bad for SEO. However, an Ahrefs article said that it doesn't really hurt. I've written about 30 blog posts right now and I'm ranking for about 180 keywords. They just don't rank that high (the highest is 11th according to Ahrefs).

Since I already know that the best place to hide a corpse, is the 2nd page on google, I wanted to hear some opinions on WIX and SEO. Is my Blog just too new or will I struggle to get on the first page with WIX.

I'm just asking for SEO reasons. I know that I'm limited with WIX when it comes to other things too, but I think it will do the job also for future plans with my blog.
