Content Marketing on Shopify

Hey, I’m planning on starting a blog that will be monetized with memberships and Merch.

Due to its ease of use, I was planning on using Shopify, that way I can monetize easily.

But my concern is that I might not be able to rank on competitive keywords.

My question is: Is Shopify bad for SEO?

If my content is good and optimized with Surfer, does the hosting platform really matter?
