Automatically generated templates bad for SEO?
I hired a growth hacker and they created a bunch of landing pages for our website aimed at search engines. There are 10 pages so far which have been generated by a script and a template.
The pages use the same text but with 5 placeholders where the target keyword is replaced on each page.
There is one block of text that is unique but similar on each page, it is actually a snippet of code so not sure f that counts as content.
There are also 6 related article links and summaries on each page which are different (content on these is all unique, quality content).
There are about 300-600 words of copy on each page depending on the unique content section.
We rank #1 for our industry target keyword as well as have some quality content which pulls in traffic.
I am worried that this automated approach will be noticed by search engines and look a bit spammy and could effect the rankings we get for our unique, well written content.
What do people think of this approach?
Can we get penalised for this and lose the #1 position we have for our home page?
