Good or Bad? Two of my pages show up on same SERP?
Two of my pages show up on the same SERP for a bunch of keywords. Typically, one is my homepage and the other is a product page, and they are right next to each other ex. positions #3 and #4.
I thought this was a good thing, but someone said this might be due to keyword cannibalization--the two pages do mention the same keywords. Although in every instance, the product page is more keyword heavy. It is the product pages I prefer to rank.
So my question is, if I remove copy from my homepage so that only the product page ranks for a keyword instead of both, will I get a higher ranking? Or am I better off leaving it, and taking up twice the space on the SERP?
