Wordpress website structure

Hello, I would like to ask for an advice regarding the following: I have a WordPress website with posts, categories, pagination etc... I plan to delete all categories and create content hubs (pages) with the same URLs. Also I'm going to delete all posts and then copy/paste the content into new pages (url-s remain the same). I want to build something like SILO structure.

Do you think that this process of deleting and copy/paste may have a negative effect on the site?
