How many articles before I can start ranking

I have a tutoring website and I am working towards ranking on the first page of SERPs for various longtail keywords.

I am in the process of publishing highly targeted and optimized blog articles. About one solid article every week. I've written about 10 articles so far 😀 I am yet to do link building but I am currently leveraging internal linking, pillar content, and topic clusters.

I had thought of building backlinks through a broken links strategy but there was no opportunity for this in the tutoring niche I am in.

Most of the big boys in the niche build links through PBNs and some other spammy techniques.

So in a nutshell I would like to know whether there is a ballpark figure in the number of articles I can expect to publish before the search engine crawlers can take me seriously. And my DA is pretty low. It's below 5
