SEO is a great tool to help businesses grow and generate revenue from organic search results, but one part of Google I believe is highly overlooked is the Google Map pack, and I might even take it one step further and say that being the number one in the map pack in some cases is even more important than an actual top 3 ranking on Google. This is especially true if you are talking about mobile searches, and even more true of restaurant or local industries. I know for a fact that I myself just type in fast food near me and take the first 3-5 places I see from the google map pack. Even my roofing client sees thousands of views on his GMB month in and month out, but maybe a hundred website visits on a good month. Don't neglect the Google map pack as it can create some serious results.
