I developed a chrome extension for businesses to effectively use whatsapp to grow their business. It has a decent number of downloads and continues to grow but the growth is very stale and I've been trying to improve the SEO of the website to fuel the growth but haven't gotten any significant change. I was thinking for promotions but given the current scenario, I'm really doubtful how effective that would be. Could someone explain me how these fucntions related to SEO like backlinking would help me? Thanks!
