Have you ever sold an Affiliate site ?

I started with affiliate SEO a while ago and realised that I can not practically rank without a huge budget and it's tough when you're from a tier-3 country so I'm having thoughts about selling the site. Have you ever sold an Affiliate site just to recover its content cost ? Is it possible ?

I invested like $4000 in content for this baby niche site and I'm ready to sell at loss of even $1k but I need some places where I can sell this site. Please recommend some ? It also gets decent traffic btw if it helps increase the price ?
