Question regarding Google titles

Hello,

I am in the processing of setting up a new website. I have a question relating to the Google Titles that appear in Google search results.

Is it a bad idea to change your title down the line? We are deciding between titles now with one of them being 'a new hub for ____' but then we realised that eventually we wont be 'new' anymore and it would look a bit silly. So if we were to change it say 4 months after launching the website to something else will it negatively effect our ranking?
