Changing article dates for SEO.
For some of my website pages, the Google Search Results display the published date, which dates back to 2014 and I feel like it's hurting my CTR & ranking. The page has been updated quite a few times since. When I inspected the URL on Google Console, it seems like Google did spot the updates, but it still shows the oldest date in the results.
<meta property="og:updated\_time" content="2020-12-28T04:56:04-08:00" />
<meta property="article:published\_time" content="2014-03-12T12:12:55-07:00" />
<meta property="article:modified\_time" content="2020-12-28T04:56:04-08:00" />
How to fix that? Should I manually change the published date? Any advice appreciated :)
