1. Receives a user submitted keyword or phrase.
2. Performs a search of the submitted word/phrase against any search engine selected.
3. Reads the top X amount of search results.
4. Visits each website from the search results in previous step and then analyzed their SEO practices (amount of content, unqiue words, semantic html etc)
5. Compiles all of that into a list?

Such a thing would be useful for trying to get your site to rank amongst these keywords by knowing what your competitors are doing. I know copying/emulating their content or techniques wouldn't automatically get you a good search position, but it might help?

Thoughts? Does any such tool exist?
