Can someone clear up the hoopla over Australia's news law?
Am I understanding this correctly?
Australia wants Google and Facebook to pay news sources solely for the ability to have the site indexed and findable in search results and / or shared on social media via Facebook posts and comments?
Struggling to find a clear ELI5 for this.
