Getting personal website to show up on google

I have a personal website I made with React and I want it to show up when you type my full name into Google (fairly unique name). It’s like [firstname].github.io . But it never shows up. I have added a nojavascript h1 with my fullname, but still nothing. Any advice from people who’ve been successful?

It has been a couple months, I’ve added the google meta tag and filled out their form and feel like I’ve done everything I can. I also know someone who when they type their first name their github pages website is the first result, so i know it is possible.
