Will my sites SEO compete with the same language other countries domain version?

I have a .nl and a .be version of the site and it's in the same language (Dutch) compare this to a United States and Canadian version where it's the same site with a different domain.

I have some blogs in the original Dutch site and copied them to the Belgium version. Will they compere or does Google understand that it's from the same owner and that it's for a different country?

Really curious if someone knows
