AMAZON SEO Keyword Stuffing

So I work for a marketing company that creates and manages amazon listings. Their main seo practice involves pretty heavy keyword stuffing (up to 150 key phrases per listing sometimes). I'm very focused on writing quality content that's not spammy but some higher ups are wanting to rank for up to 100+ keywords/phrases, which I think is ridiculous.

My goal (set forth by said higher ups) is to rank up upwards of 50 key phrases/keywords per product listing. Altogether, I'm managing about 60 product listings - about 5-10 products across 6-8 geos. Obviously, focus isn't on all of these products all at one time, one week it might be 5 specific products across all geos, the following week another 5, etc.

Is this task reasonable considering the number of listings I have to manage?
