Is Creating Service Area Pages Actually Beneficial?

I'm a masonry contractor offering masonry repairs and new construction (ie. pizza ovens, chimney repairs, parging) for residential homes in my city and surrounding area. Is it beneficial for me to write service area pages for every part of the city like "Lower-town", and "West Ridge" if they all are located in the same city? Would it boost my SEO ranking for people who search "masonry contractor near me" if I were to take the time to write quality content for each area of the City?
