How do I repair SEO for a messed up redirect

My client had a great top ten organic ranking for a page on his website. He then asked me to change the page’s URL and add a redirect. I did this but I messed up the redirect with a typo. So redirect never happened. This was two weeks ago. I’ve fixed the redirect now. Is there anything I can do to help restore SEO? Can I submit the redirect to Google via the Web Console?
