Keyword cannibalized by homepage

Hello everyone,

I am working on my personal website and my services page was ranking top 2 for a specific keyword, but about a month ago, I noticed that I declined drastically. After checking the Google Search Console, I realized that Services page that was ranking well and where the keyword was mentioned several times, was replaced by my homepage (that ranks for another keyword). That homepage had the primary keyword from my Services page so I removed it completely from headings, meta tags, alt tags, but even after 3 weeks, this homepage is still ranking for a keyword that is not even on the page.

Is there a specific way to get Google to index my services page for that specific keyword? Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Edit: I am in a fairly uncompetitive (adult) niche according to Ahrefs
