Individual pages for long-tail keywords on directory site?
Hello 👋. I am currently working on a directory site for breweries as a side project. I currently have pages dedicated to long-tail keywords in certain locations, such as "breweries with patios Seattle", "dog friendly breweries Seattle", etc. Some of these pages have ranked on the first page, but have since been deindexed by Google on and off. While I believe the content on these pages is valuable and provides an answer to what visitors are searching for, my guess is that the content is not unique enough compared to other pages.
On the parent location pages (eg. breweries in Seattle), I am having some success with h3 sections of content dedicated to other long-tail keywords in a faq format.
Considering this is a directory site without blog style content, would it make more sense to noindex these long-tail pages and move their content to the parent location page as an h3 section? I am just worried about the ux and bounce rate as visitors will need to scroll to find what they are looking for - I guess there are a few ux tricks that can help with this though.
Thanks!
