SEO conferences are a waste of money and time
Convince me why they’re not, seriously. You pay a lot of money just go sit down and hear lame speakers using the same clichés and buzzwords that we’ve already heard a gazillion times over and over again. “cOnTeNt iS kInG” no shit sherlock, every SEO with a brain knows the need for relevant and compelling content. "adding value", "targeting long tail keywords" "building authority”…i’m sick of hearing the same old shit. Then a lot of these will start preaching about voice search about how they're the new big thing, but i could've sworn i heard the same thing back in 2018 and 2019. When google adds voice search to analytics tools AND the volume of searches plus conversions matches regular search, I’ll take it seriously. We have too much going on to worry about commands shouted at phones in traffic. so dumb, literally. How about covering something perhaps more interesting or complex like how Google identifies related entities from the search query entity or SEO intersecting with customer rentention? I’d say 90% of these conferences are a huge waste of money and are stupid as hell
