Wrote an article on my website's blog, now what?

As you can tell by the title, I am brand spanking new to the SEO space.

I wrote an article describing a product (chrome extension) I have created for a fairly common problem that people face/search about and I posted it on my website's blog section (I have a Wix premium site).

There seems to be a lot of SEO tools built into the WIX platform, I made sure that all the required tags, descriptions were included properly.

But now what? Is it just a waiting game?

Do I need to promote the article somehow? If so, how?
