Will my website rank if I build it this way?

Hello (:

I want to create a blog, the content is based on the same idea, EX. Alternative to [something] (but it's not alternative to) But the problem is if I used this idea I think I'll be talking pretty much about all the categories.

Will I rank if I followed this idea? If no, is there any solution?

Note: if you can't clearly understand the idea please message me since I'm having problems explaining it.
