Physical Addresses and Local Seo Question

I currently have a PO Box at the post office which i understand wont work well for GMB and doing local citation building from what i understand. So i see other businesses using the post office address followed by a #41 . For example 123 hickory drive #41 . Would this work for a physical address for google which would direct mail still to the POBOX but most importantly work for local citation building ????
