Internal linking: Referring Domains or Keywords? > What is more important?

I am trying to improve my internal linking for a keyword - and in AHRefs you can batch process URLs - so my process is to find opportunities of content I have that has my targeted keyword and then filter those by:

• Referring Domains
• Total Inbound Backlinks (to those internal pages)
• Total keywords

And of course I make efforts to get internal links from the best metrics listed above

So, my question is - which of those do you consider to be the most important or useful?

I'd argue Inbound Links b/c the page would get crawled a bit more? Agree?
