As the title says - looking in GSC there are still 100s of pages being indexed despite a redirect and canonical headers. This is from one sub domain (live.) to another (www.)

What is bizarre it when I inspect the URL in GSC it comes back with the redirected URL but with a 200 (not a 301). Strikes me this is a bug on Google's side - i.e. not respecting a 301.

Anyone seen this behaviour? Know how to fix it?
