Archive / tag / category pages and SEO - do I need to worry about them?
I have a wordpress website and I just ran it through HubSpot's SEO tool, and all of the errors/recommendations I received were from random auto-generated URL's
i.e.
Blabla archives
url: domain dot com slash tag slash word
issues: duplicate content, no meta info, etc.
Of course all of the content that I create pays super close attention to this stuff, but whats going on with these archive pages? should I delete them? noindex them? optimize them? ignore them?
Just wondering how tags and other random auto-generated wordpress URL's affect SEO and Google's crawl budget and what I should do about them.
This is kind of 2 separate questions but are tags and categories important for SEO? I dont really use them but sometimes ill randomly assign tags and categories but I dont understand how they work.
