Can integrating GA improve rankings

Hey guys. noob question, I know, but can integrating Google analytics have an effect on web rankings. I recently did so on my site and after four days I took over top position for a relatively low comp keyword that was prior occupied by a niche super heavyweight.

Not sure if it's just coincidence but Google does notes that it uses data from GA to improve search results. I'm super fixated on 100% chrome lighthouse scores so not really comfortable with the performance drop that comes with GAs cookies and scripts.

My site's still at its infancy with 3k monthly search clicks and I don't really care much for tracking user behaviour and all that stuff. I do track conversions via affiliate sales and impressions/clicks from search console.
