I want to up my efforts establishing backlinks with local universities for a student housing website. The website currently has several university websites backlinking to our website which is a mutual benefit as the University wants to inform students about off campus housing options. These backlinks were easy to score. However, I want to increase the volume of backlinks with more universities and I am not sure If I should use a tool like the one SEMRush offers. I believe the tool sends a campaign template email to the site moderators. But are the site moderators the best contact source in this situation? Should I be using the SEMRush tool for this or should I be researching for a more appropriate person to contact?
