Hey yall. Yesterday I shared a method of linkbuilding that I like - here's another that I've done in the past and gained some really good links - however it's more content marketing based as the content will be on your site.

Basically use Google forms to run a survey on whatever niche you're working in and from the results, create something newsworthy. At the end of the day, all blogs and news publications want new subjects to write about, so if you can create something that is really interesting, there won't be an issue getting links for some good websites.

For example - say you work for a law firm - you can simply write a short survey asking divorcees whether they have a good opinion of divorce lawyers - ask if they are male or female and use the results to say "75% of women have a good impression of divorce lawyers while only 30% of men do.

To mix it up you can ask other prominent people in the industry what they think of the results.

I have a couple of examples of what I've done before if anyone wants to see. If you can do it properly it can get some really good results.
