I spoke before about trying to target SEO agencies to market a link building service and thought of a way that could work...Fairly simple but possibly effective and could work for anyone trying to sell something (although in online marketing it's probably the most effective).

So... Set up a landing page and link to a number of SEO agencies. Click on all the links and then delete them.

If they are monitoring their Google Analytics, they will see a click.

Better yet, if you're targeting someone in particular, set up a page **This is a message for ***, click the link. If they check Google Analytics for referral traffic, they'll see the page and obviously click on it.

I don't know if this has been used before but worth a try as I would like some agencies as clients as already have business owners on board.
