Change of Address - Search Console

I rebranded my business and used the Change of Address feature in Search Console several days ago.

For my main, local keyword, I am back to page one. I am ranking directly below my old website.

Can I use the Removal tool on my old URL? I want to hide the old website from search results without affecting the transfer process.

Please let me know the best course of action. Thanks!
