Looking for some advice here on whether to build a new website on Wix or Wordpress. To give a little context, I’ll be building a website for a local painting company, and the obvious goal is to have great SEO. I’m already pretty familiar with Wordpress and certain SEO tactics to implement for it, but after looking into wix I’m almost wondering if it’s a better option? I’ve always struggled with site speed on Wordpress and have tried out many different servers, CDNs, themes, etc. and after running a few tests on a wix site, the site speeds were just below 100 on both desktop and mobile. So maybe it’s my server and theme choices that are the problem? Idk, I’ve read so many articles at this point I’m a little lost. Any advice, insight or personal experience is greatly appreciated!!
