Proper consultant?

I am trying to build my personal brand and looking for professional assistance — this is my first pass at social media really since most of my connections are IRL, any suggestions on resources?

My goals are to grow my personal brand regardless of what platform, I just want to better understand the social media landscape and how to cultivate a brand within said landscape.
