Does number of links in article affect linkjuice?

Hello,

I have bought a backlink-article for a niche-website I'm building at the moment. The provider uploaded the article on his site and linked my website. However, he included 5-6 internal links within the same article. Does this affect the amount of link equity passed on to my site?

Should i request him to remove some internal links to improve the quality of the backlink provided in the article?
