Can embeds positively effect SEO? Does embeds have any effect at all?

Lets say i get 1000 embeds directed towards a website, social media etc. Does this Give any value? Or could it harm the websites SEO/Serp ?

Id greatly appreciate as much feedback from different sources and other SEO's on this subject, as I've been wondering this for awhile and cant find any answers on it.
