pagespeed optimization

as I do a casestudy about the upcoming Google update it would be ice to change some experiences about pagespeed and these lighthouse values.

How do you optimize your pages especially wordpress pages? Did you already recognize some feedback in the search results? I developed a tool to track the pagespeed of the top 20 of a predefined keyword, its so far only in german but it is going to be a exciting result in a few month, when Google does the rollout.
