Hello Everyone. I work in marketing dept for a company and recently our digital marketing specialist changed all the long urls without considering the redirecting part. I noticed that there was sudden dip in traffic right after and on further analysis I found that almost all the old url slugs give a 404 error. Could you tell me what should be done in order to bring back the traffic and visibility? Should we wait for google to recognize the new URLs or should we request for reindexing immediately or should we do something else?
Please excuse my question as I am not so proficient with the same.
